How Many Days Until International Men's Day?

International Men's Day is observed every year on November 19 and serves as a global awareness day focused on men's and boys' health, wellbeing, and positive contributions to society. The day also aims to improve relations between genders, promote overall gender equality, and highlight positive male role models who set a good example within their families and communities. Beyond these broader goals, it acts as an important platform for addressing serious issues that disproportionately affect men, such as higher suicide rates and ongoing concerns around workplace safety in physically demanding jobs. The observance was officially inaugurated in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago, although earlier, smaller versions of similar events had already existed in different countries during the early 1990s. It isn't recognized as a public holiday anywhere, so it functions purely as an international awareness day rather than a day off work. The timing often overlaps with "Movember," a well-known global charity campaign where men grow mustaches throughout November to raise both funds and awareness for men's health issues. Panel discussions, seminars, and community awareness campaigns are also common ways the day gets marked.
